I've been there 3 times and enjoyed each one. Went this year early April. The season has just about finished and they will be going into their rainy season. I think it all starts again in October. Stayed in the Palma Rima hotel it was good and restaurants were close by. Luigis is good for italian stuff. Go into Senagambia and change your money there. There are some good Indian restaurants and the Chinese is probably the best you will ever go to. The beef in black bean source is to die for.The pool is the biggest in Gambia and has a small one for youngsters. There is a road to the beach from the holel, about 5 minutes walk and to the right is a reef where there iare plenty of fish. Outside the hotel you can hire a land rover to take you to Sann Yang beach where you can spin for barracuda Best bait is probably prawns and you will be able to get someone to go for them. Half all prices offered and haggle from there. Walk away if necessary. E mail me if you want to know more.
cheers
Martin
