Hey John,
That's a nice Marlin you have there :clap2: Would you share some details about that fish with us? Nice to see someone's catching them in these waters. If I remember right 'Dean Gonsalez' who fishes in and around goa came upon a 9ft marlin that washed up on the shore. Goes to show there's so much unexplored water in this part of the world.
Regards,
Indian Angler.
Great pics John - keep them coming.

During my visits to Andamans feb march april 2006 we were lucky enough to land six marlin between 800lb and 150lb and lost 3 more and raised another 5 not taking the lure.We only fished for marlin some of the time the rest was spent popper fishing for GT'S and jigging for dogtooth tuna. There was plenty of yellowfin around and we managed o catch fish up to 100lbs even caught some on poppers. The islands are a great place to go and visit and fish i look forward to it every year.2005 was good also released several marlin biggest 700lb and a very big sailfish 150lbs plus yellowfin up to 140lbs.John
