hi there i am asking a question using my husbands forum name as anyone got a nice receipe for trout as he caught me four lovely ones yesterday and i would really like to do them justice thank you jay:boat:
Hi Jay, I like to keep it simple, set oven on 220 gut and wash your trout then dry and make three diagonal slits into the flesh on both sides, fill the cavity with fresh thyme and a couple of slices of lime - drizzle with olive oil and whack it in the oven for 15-20 minutes, goes great with saute'd potatoes.
Enjoy:fish:

right to keep trout simple, trout likes to be eaten with horseradish sauce.
Mix horseradish with cremefresh and chopped walnuts, goes great with any fish.

Quite right Patester, you try to give the punter what he wants and all he does is moan (shan't bother again), Shame- this recipe is simple and tastes fantastic.
