Fly fishing for Sharks, especially sight fishing in shallow water, can be really exciting. They run and some, like Spinner Sharks, jump - equally as acrobatic as billfish.
There's a guide called Scott Hamilton who fishes out of Palm Beach, Florida who's created a couple of 'home made' videos of them. They're well worth viewing - I've found this probably the best link - http://www.flyfishing-austria.at/biggameflyfishing/shark_to_the_fly_videos.htm - to view them through.
Compare the 30 to 50 yard run you might get from a Porbeagle using bait in this country with the 59 seconds this Spinner Shark runs for. And then it hasn't finished it just pops the shock leader. And in the second one watch their 'barreling' leaps.

PS They're reasonable large files so will take a while to load even with broadband.
