Tralee bay or Dingle area. Does anyone know if there are fishing boats available for self drive hire, I know there used to be many years back but I cant find any details. If not how about a good boat and skipper for the Dingle area.
Looking at going in September for a week of mixed shore and boat.
Cheers

Hi Lurelover,
Look on the Central Fisheries Board website www.cfb.ie they have a directory of charter boat men for the whole country and ther are a number of them in Tralee and Dingle. This is a very productive area to fish and once you have tried it once you will be back again.
Enjoy

Good Luck

LureLover.
I was over on the Dingle peninsular a couple of years back and still have a copy of Bob Moss`s booklet that detail the main shore marks in that area.
If you want to PM me your address I will gladly post it out to you.
Bob`s phone number is printed in it and he is always happy to meet fisherman and give great advice. He also keeps a good stock of Ammo baits,at very reasonable prices,at his house. The address is also in the booklet.
Hope this helps bud,
Terry F.
P.S. If you like conger, the small jetty at BallyDavid is the place to be.
Three 20lb+ fish in one session plus one very annoyed seagull.
Patrick...thanks for the info and welcome to WSF bud.
If you submit a query here you should get an answer quick enough:
