Anyone know where the best place in greenock or anywhere in scotland for winter cod is?

heard some one on another forum mention balcary point near Dalbeattie Dumfries & Galloway

up at Abroath from the harbour wall there is cages to fish from on top of the wall. Or go along to the rocks and fish from the dails head but will lose alot of tackle. Or go past Abroath to usan and fish from the beach... :ph34r:
