Well we had a very interesting day with the weather starting of raining and clearing up to eventually get most of us sun burnt.
Results from the top two casters were fantastic with once again Scott ( The Kilometer man ) Selby nudging out Lee( I did it again ? ) Andrews.
Also we had a few new faces on the scene with young Nick belting out a great 229 meters cast for his first ever comp - great result and a sign of bigger and better things to come.
Also good casting from Andrew and Tony who also attended for the first time.
Results are as follows:
07/01/2007
Gram/Meters 100 125 150 175 Agg.
Scott Selby 239.00 251.35 265.60 248.12 765.07 :)
Lee Andrews 242.60 252.15 259.30 754.05
Jeremy Schrader 233.95 234.90 218.08 686.93
Nick Pasinis 229.00 229.00 :)
Andrew Xanthos 155.00
Tony Ambrosini 140.00
Note that I still have to confirm Lee's 175 gram distance which also brought him close to the Kilometer average for 4 weights.
Once again fantastic results from all who were competed and a great day to see some big casts.
Pressure started at 1008 and steadily rose to 1014 wind was gusting all day.
As usual Melbourne had three seasons in one day with rain through to bright sun shine.
Regards
