Hello Folks we had a good turnout on sunday with people comming from as far afield as the north east of england ,north of the clyde and cumbria . the weather forecast for the day was breezy with scattered showers ,but we was lucky and got no rain .the results are as follows

today with there being a good breeze there was a high expectation of PB,s
Personel bests , and for some the day worked out well and for others myself included it did not go well , but there,s always another day . anyhow back to the main part

and as for yours truly on the 50gram fixed spool I managed a four cast total of approximatly 1600yds , 400yds per crack off one after another so I decided or should I say my legs decided no more 50grams for the day and the people that helped me find them agreed .:oops:
as usual if I have got anything wrong let me know and I will alter it

some nice pics there andrew , :clap3: i,m gonna be comin down for one or two of these events , but i need a wee bit more practise , just got a new rod that i,m still trying to get to grips with , a big well done to everybody that took part , :clap3: :clap3: and got a pb ..even you cammy :whistling ;) ;) an well done to paul thats quite a feat :clap2:

Nice pics Andrew, the first pic totally sums up how I felt...I couldnae cast for sh*t on sunday! I think out of the whole day I got about 60% of my casts out the rest birdied, I had a tesco bag full of tangled line after it :nonono:
Still I had a good day, nice to see such a good turn out. Hopefully I can get my act togethor for the next one (sunday 25th feb) :fish:

i have saw that pixie floating around before somewhere.. haggis tosser could of added it to his total for the day............ think it was 1 kill (rabbit) and a quick EWE turn in the other field?????????????. lol lol.

nice casting ian and paul 260+paul done well with the four leads but he never got a poor we bunny......aye ian u killed the bunny rabbit....pete wos out and put a small head stone up the day mt mined and bring some flowers down on the 25th :wah: :wah:

Hi oldchukka , I'm probably going to come across this year from the North East , will have a word with a couple of the lads over here to sort something out . Probably wont be until our events are finished .
i might be able to get to a couple at the n.west this year.?
