NB. You DO NOT need to be a member of this club to fish any of the inter county friendlies currently being organised on this site. This club is being created due to the amount of people that have suggested/shown an interest in creating a club for social as well as fishing reasons.

yes please chaps - being based in Reading makes ithard to get out at times, but have fished the area a few times last year (with Ivor and met RichardB) so would like the chance to join up with all more often.
May not be able to meet all match dates due to work commitments and having a young pup who demands a lot of time, but will do what I can!!
Are charter boat matches a possibility??

Charter trips should be a possibility at some point and maybe matches later on. Something to discuss when we have our first meeting........in a pub, obviously!!

What a cracking website, well done bagstar you are a diamond!
Ior - please do - I sent one but it was on my camera and not so great. is it ok to send one of you silouetted against the sun set at Gilkicker - it is a bit blurry as the exposure wasnt right, but it might be ok to use.
I promise not to send the one of you with that stripper just in case the missus see's it!!!
Cant do the 4th now - will be in th big smoke taking part in a new TV game show, hoping to win enough priz money to give up work and fish 24/7!!!!! But let me know some dates to go and hook some bass (weekends preferably)

howie one problem on dates and venue selsey 4.7mtr tide 2000-2359 hw 2339 this will be unfishable as tide is way to big and truck loads of weed would suggest smaller tide 4.0mtr or less as this will be mostly smoothound bashing this would make it alot eaiser to retrieve fish back to the beach!!!!!

hello ppl we havant long to go until the 1 April when it all kicks off on the beach friendly meet between HANTS Sussex and some of the dab boys i believe are coming down to see wot we as a TEAM are like.Anyway Ive organised(well trying)a meet the week before the 1 so if anyone wants or needs help with there casting then i can help them out before the 1 April BUT NO ONE IS PUTTING A DATE DOWN EITHER 24/25 AS I NEED TO NO WHAT IS GOING TO BE THE BEST DATE FOR EVERYONE.SO COME ON YOU LAZY BUNCH OF GITS(LOL)OK now that i have your attention could you all say wot will be the better day for you please.as i can put it in the big black book so that day i wont be at work even if i get a call out.so please either put 24/25 please see I'm trying to sort this out but its hard work when everyone looks and don't put a date.after we have fished on that date when we finish we will pop into a pub for a drink and a chat and we will prob stink the pub out lol anyway while i was fishing with rob yesterday i was teaching him the pendulum cast and i decided to be a smart ass so i wound a cast right up with a Penn 525mag and 5oz lead weight and the reel was about 4mm under the spool and i let it fly well i almost s$%^% me self as i was watching the lead weight going up up up in the air and way out to sea the reel was getting faster and faster so i looked down at the reel just in time to see the spool getting empty i put the thumb on the spool just in time as i then hit the knot.well i was surprised to say the least and rob couldn't believe what he saw.i said to him well m8 that's a first with this Penn as if i want big distances i use the 7ht turbo.the line on the reel was 0.35 15lb line (on the Penn 525 mags)on the 7ht turbos Ive got 15lb f1 line which is really nice to cast with.right so with fishyrobs casting sorted out just remember what i said m8 and with bag stars cast hopefully sorted out (bags ) have you put any more practise in yet m8 ?i am free on the 24/25/the 1 April to try and help anyone else out that wants help i no a bloke from Sussex is helping some of the lads out as well (hope your distance improves lads) down in Sussex area.so the 24/25 will be to get some fishing in as well as me helping out as many ppl as i can on that date.as i no but will not mention names would like some help with rigs casting and advice (little clue ) carp and drives like a t%$$ lol.anyway ppl if you can please PUT A DATE DOWN AS SOMEONE HAS TO START THE DATE AND EVERYONE ELSE WILL FOLLOW SUIT (LIKE LAMBS TO THE SLAUGHTER)OH AND ITS FREE CASTING FREE ADVISE FREE RIG ADVISE IN RETURN ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS BE DOWN EASTNEY EITHER ON THE 24/25 MARCH OK GUYS

yes m8 how far are you casting m8 and what style do you want to learn what rod and reel do you use m8 and how far do you want to cast m8 il teach anyone once you learn the basics its then down to you to improve after about 1hr with me you will see your distance improve by at least 50 to 70% m8 then you got to keep on practice to get the distance you want m8

Now learning a Multi 13' & Penn 525 reel - would like to see OTG go further then ultimatley the pendulum !
If you can get me 50% - I'll be a chuffed bunny - I know JumboH wants to imporve as well ... maybe sort out a date ?

HOWIE think you need to look at this and change if poss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
have fished above venue for many years and know how bad it can be on a big tide even the most expert angler will struggle on the 4.7mtr tide
ok we will change it then m8 as to what date i dont no as we need a mid week match ok here goes then wot about the 25 june hi tide2022 and its a 3.9 mtr tide i personaly think the 14 would of been better but i dont want ppl moaning sating im pickin krap tides so can ppl please vote on either 14 june hi tide at2339 4.7 or 25 june 2022 3.9 mtr we will see which 1 ppl pick and then go with that mate what you got to remember is that some ppl dont live around here some of them live in sussex who want to fish our comps thats why i picked that tide as so ppl can finish work then travel to the marks m8 hope this helps BAGSTAR DONT CHANGE THE DATE JUST YET M8 SEE WHICH DATE PPL PERFER M8
For me the 25th is good as im working on the14th!

Say 50 lug and 25 rag. I would use the whites as a tipper.
The meet as I understand it is on the 1st April.
I can collect any time you want before then, but the later the better for me.

Yes it does work, you have to wait a while for it to load and then click play. It is a little slow to load.

I have openly declared myself as an official Club Tart in the past, and that therefore I would fish for the home team whenever I could make it. As I rarely catch anything other than crabs and foul diseases, you don't have much to worry about.:clap2:

hi guys after a long think i have decided to stand down as club chairman and match orginiser and as after the 1 april i wont be fishing for hhac anymore so who ever wants to step into my shoes your more than welcome to il still keep an eye on how you lot are doing and if anyone does need my help then you can always pm me i also wont be putting any more catch reports on here i wish the club all the best for the future and hope the next person does a better job than i have if anyof you see me on a beach then come and say hi i dont want any ill feelings between me or any of the members please dont ask why as its personal ok well guys all the best and look after yourselves and the club

Bump! :kissing: Feel the love!!
I have updated a few pages on the HHAC site and there are a few important changes now, all are to try and help the club run smoothly. Also I have removed the guestbook and changed the forum. Please can you give me some feedback on the changes?
A few more changes have been made to the site and also a HHAC survey so as we can get an idea of what you want.

Hi all. Mind me guesting on your Selsey meet? - plus OCB if I can drag him away from working all the time - I should imagine you will find good fish on either date, weed permitting. But if the weed is bad, you also have plenty of alternatives very close. Good call! Plus, I§m hoping you guys will come and play when the SE forum visit Brighton marina, so we can talk tactics.

Ok guys. After recent events, more than ever we all need to get back to fishing. I should also like to establsih myself firmly with a team, ready fo the next inter county challenge. The S.A.S. dont need my support, as they are firmly established. As pretty much all of my spring fishing is done in Hampshire, and many of the people I enjoy fishing with are members of H.H.A.C, I should like to establsih myself as a HHAC member. Any objections? I would also like to raise the tempo on the Selsey meet, cos I think you have got the location and tides spot on for a potentially electric meet if we can get the crabs.....
Comments anyone? Can I get a H.H.A.C. number please?

No objections Rob.......I have never had any problems with you or any other member of the site as far as fishing goes; have very much enjoyed fishing with yourself and all others I have ever fished with. I am not one to show bias or to take sides....so welcome aboard.
Have updated member list on first page. Your H.H.A.C number is 027.

For everyone's info, I have sent a pm to Bagstar asking him if he would mind taking over the club (let's face it, he created and maintains the website and has done far more towards the club)....I am proud to have created the club and will remain a member (if allowed?! lol) and will always be available to help with anything, but for the moment I would like to concentrate on my moderating on WSF (far more to that than I had imagined!!). If John doesn't want to take over or is unable to, I will ask all other members to show an interest and see where we go from there.

I have just got back from a week in Dorset fishing and done a bit of reading. Im affraid that I will not be able to take on the position that Andy has decided to leave as I have just bought my first house with my fiancee and doing the place up will take up all my spare time. I could also do without the extra stress at the moment!
I have no problem with assisting whoever wishes to take over and would be more than happy to keep the site updated, which I can do at work.
Anyone fancy it taking over?
