How about a spring or early summer MEET for the S/E?
No mention of a match, money, prizes or charity, just a good old fashioned meet on a reasonable stretch of beach that can be easily reached and fished by everyone?
You never know, a few fish might even turn up!! :)

well i am thinking of sorting a couple of S/E matches out in the near future just for fun as i will never put in my time for another match like the kent essex one again . will help Alan T sort out the rematch in essex after the kent bash . after that will just take it back to a se team fish .

Might as well be a suffolk beach for the springers I reckon. I like Shingle Street if there's a half decent run in the spring. :)

No real plans for this one yet as there is the big re-match and also jassyfa is arranging one soon after. I suggest we just hold back on this one for the time being. :)

Evening to night at St Osyth then, plenty of stinger, really want to catch a big stinger on a beach full of swimmers and JSS's, scare the you know what out of em.:)

All you need is a flat calm sea a rising tide, warm water and a big bit of luck.

Apparently you can get stingray in the Blackwater around Tollesbury and Goldhanger in the summer, so I am told. Never had any last year!:unsure:
Have taken them from east mersey and the maplins and they do go like a bat out of hell in shallow water one I had from mersey was jumping clear of the water at times .

Ah Ha !!!! according to another post on this forum there are bluefin Tuna off the East coast so there is a chnce that one could get a teeny bit lost and end up at Tollesbury:) :unsure:
