hi looking for some fields, south of crystal palace, biggin hill some where like that to practice my casting.i do have a few large parks close by but dont want to hurt anyone,or get arrested.have meet a few london based anglers on my trips and most tend to say they are using fields to practice casting.just need to find a safe spot, thanks.

How about Battersea Park, alongside the river Thames? I can remember going to an Angling Show there, and seeing Nigel Forrest demonstrating the Breakaway bits and pieces, including the prototype lead lifts, by casting them into the river. If you used dog proof tennis balls for others safety, I'm sure you could at least practice OTG....
You might need a rod license, though:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Is there not a school playing field near you?Contact the caretaker and see if a few quid might persuade him to let you in after school or at weekends.

bigfish good idea but most local schools use local parks for p e and sports days space is a premuim i suppose. jimmy i will:notworthy my eye on that link not to far at all,plus some good pointers there ta.
