Would love to, but cant. Gearbox arrived for my mates car and my new steering rack is due in on Friday. Will be covered from head to toe in gearbox oil and power steering fluid all weekend :yucky:
Good luck, interested in Sunart some other time though.

mackies, cuttlefish, sandeels ,squid, herring the big thing was on cuttlefish a whole one and it was the longest cast i really put some welly into it you know how i cast you have quite a wide front on which to cast so its noy cramped the grass you saw looked good but it is only an inch thick solid concrete underneath so dont know about tents but inside 3 people could sleep on the bench easy try and find better directions to laga bay thats meant to fish its head off at night and not to bad in the day either the shed is night only fish were being taken at all ranges though so maybe a big heavy one ,and a scratching rig on a light rod ,hardly lost anything to rough ground so i assume its sand and gravel

Gents,
I thought very carefully about this, but Met Office is showing winds 35-40mph and heavy rain all weekend. That means only two things = miserable and unfishable. Sorry, but I'm out.

big-al
07-03-2007, 19:26

I've tried them all but gave up on them.  now I just head up to LA and make the most of what the conditions allow. the good thing with up there is there is always somewhere sheltered to hide.

I've lost count of the times when I've been sat out in flat calm conditions when it was supposed to be force 8 winds. That being said I think I can count on one hand the amount of times they got the forecast correct :(

davy is bang on lads the ferry is another fiver for a trailer go all the way around the ardgour side bit of a drive but some top pollack marks at the eil and linnhe narrows and after i clocked it there is no way i used 10 quid of deisel driving around instead of the ferry remember that shed was pis* during the day so try the bay ring my mobile if you want better directions
