Swanage sounds good. Be interesting to combine it with a bait collection session. Never tried a bait pump, but looks easier than digging. Doesn't look like a big tide on Saturday and I'm not familiar with Swanage. Does anybody know what bait may be available at this spot? Local knowledge would help. Its a 6.30am low tide, so an early start may be in order, then fish the up and down tide till mid afternoon.

Hi, I think its been decided that we are having this pre season meet at Swanage on 21st April, one week before the meet on the 28th. (at least that seems to be the jist of it from the pre season meet thread) If so we will be just coming off springs again and the tides are 06.50 low and 13.06 High.
was wondering myself how its going to work out for those of the team that live further away from Swanage or Bexi, They will have to find the funds for two trips in a week, its not so bad for us that live here.
As for bait on Swanage beach, I have never found it one of the best places to collect bait.

I'm not sure the date is finalised yet - I'll pm all DABers tonight and ask them for availability/preference - I'm keen to fish Swanage though - as for bait then we can always do that another time/place if Swanage doesn't have much to offer.
