Just thought you would like to know that we are within only a few pounds of being able to make the last payment for the sign...

Thanks to Paul B and very generous donation from Mark H are in the final straight.

I have chucked in £35 ,the proceeds of my Southampton/Sunderland bet today, as well.

With the monies promised in the last few days we are within about £12...

Thanks to all of you who dipped deep. Appreciated. This sign needs to be up before the summer loonies arrive and hope they take note.

Mike.

I know a song about that as I shovel 6 tons of the horse stuff every September on the allotment and keeping it fishy like I will try and collect some seaweed this year after the hopefully few blow ups that we will be having in the S.A.S area .

 I would like to thank all the members who have responded so rapidly and generously to covering the cost of our sign/noticeboard:thumbs:

Cheers guys! I must admit I was worried to start with, thinking we'd stuck our neck out too far, but knew that we just had to have a sign before we could legitimately take anglers to task for poor behaviour. Once it's up then all members can feel more empowered to help stamp out generators, floodlights and undersize fishing.

Well done again everyone and thanks to my fellow committee members for keeping the faith. :)

dunno why you worry so much?:roll1:
the faith is always there :notworthy
the belief forever powerful:yeah:
and the outcome as always, the same
a little bit of protection of that small piece of concrete that we hope to preserve for generations to come

so without further ado we move on with the usual relentless pace and to come for us all, is a summer of great events and surprises that all our members can take part in and contribute to the clubs continued success and i for one are shore ham looking forward too

maybe just maybe a few fish thrown in too:fish: :fish:

I reckon keeping the sponsors under wraps is probably a good thing as we don't want to force each other to drain our future fishathon sponsorers and scare them off for the next thon:). Anyway Mr...bring your chef whites along as I think this will also be a cookathon between The Goodfellas " Us" and the wearing purple pants on the outside with capes "Grays Heros" lol:).

Priorities young Jamie, who revises for their GCSE's?!!

I spent the majority of my study leave down the beach either fishing or getting pis$ed!

As exams are supposed to be getting getting easier surely you don't need to revise unless your an idiot?.................best get stuck into those books!!!!

Only messing mate!

nice one bally

funnily enough those are the two subjects i studied the most in my youth and passed both with flying colors with no revision ,only practical experience:drunk:

sadly tho now in later life i feel the lack of revision is beginning to show!! less and less fishing (work)

but on a positive note still getting pi$$ed
