the next jedi meet will be hopefully be sometime in between the above dates but guys before anyone goes off on one all members of WSF are more than welcome there are only a few marks at etive that can cope with a fair amount of guys so if anyone has other places that can cope dont be shy but for now i will say the windsock fri 1st of june for an overnighter nothing serious barbecue maybe and hopefully some decent fish remember all are welcome jedi,darkside or just undecided:blink: :blink:

Might be a no go for me mate, I've a club match the following weekend on the West coast so think the Brownie points might be too low for a double weekender mate but might just come to the Jedi meet instead but will see what the future brings. Plus is is very close to the wife's birthday.

cris the tide here is very strong. Holding anchor and bottom from the boat would be pretty difficult depending on the tide.

You hardly ever get anyone fishing here in the boat, but the shore really comes into its own, recent catches vouch for that. Mind u grippers upto 8oz are needed to combat the tide. best guys to speak to are Big Al, thornback, Neal - skink

Well guys the time is ever drawing nearer........I've got 40 ewes left to lamb, should be finished by the beginning of next week, :clap3: finally sick of the sight of the little woolly baabaars,:giveup: and the 1st of June is just a fortnight away.
I'm struggling to remember what a fish looks like, never mind how to hold a rod its been that bloody long since I wet a line..... I've got serious withdrawal symptoms, I've got to go fishing..............

i can bring a bag of coals , and grub as well , looking forward to it.
can someone tell me what to bring , i use a fixed spool when fishing from the shore " now do not laugh" but i prefer them .

jason dont worry about that fixed spools are ok i used mine the last time its no that snaggy either but 30lb line is a must as there is a weedy shelf you seem to hit on the way back in make up some 4/0 6/0 pulley pennels with wire snoods and bait clips cos you need to pump it right out

i dont think we need to peg it , there isplenty room along that beach and loads of room for tents etc . dont mind a fiver in the pot for the heaviest fish though .

Well guys I'm deffinately not going to make the meet this friday.

Was playing football and celabrating celtics scottish cup win Ive ruptured my cruciate ligament and split the bone in my knee and the bone has detached itself from my knee cap so Ive got a big stooky on from my ar*e to my toes lol so Im absolutely f*ucked hobbling about in crutches.

Hope us have fun and manage a few nice spurs.

well on a brighter note went back up to the hospital yesterday and after a good bit of moaning about the stooky they took it off and gave me a leg brace with velcro straps I can take on and off so my holiday will be ok, just need to take it easy for a month or 2.

Im a quick healer I'll be back out fishing soon lol, but football can wait just a wee while longer :)

Not even that really gino, it is straight off the boats but it is frozen within 5 minutes of being onboard so I think there is a lot of scent kept in them.
