The Next DAB Members League meet/comp will be held at Southbourne (nr Bournemouth on 2nd June. This will be an evening comp - comp start at 6pm fish to 10.30 or 11 pm (to be decided). Meet at the Bistro Car Park about 5.30pm. Full deatils on the DAB Website Forum. If you've not joined DAB yet but fancy fishing in our friendly and fun events and league along the Dorset coast please contact me via pm.

Hoping to be there Andy......wanted to do the Pevensey meet too, but on the same day, unfortunately. :g: Had a really nice day at the last Pevensey meet and enjoyed the company of some top blokes; same as at the West Bexi meet.
If I get a pass....and this is in debate as we speak, I will be there....providing Henry's swollen appendage doesn't get any worse!!

Hope you and Henry can make it - there have been some good Rays landed off the beach recently and smoothounds are showing too - along with a chance of Sole & Turbot the prospects are interesting!

Mega embarrassment. Started to feel better, thought about fishing and saw DAB ad and thought ah a short session. Also short walk which I can only do at the moment. Mea Culpa.

OK.
1. Humoungous Apologies to Crazy Plums and his team from me.
2. For some strange reason I got it into my head that Friday was the Pevensey meet and Saturday the DAB meet. Probably the vast quantities of pills I am having to take at the moment.
3. In reality it has been touch and go whether I could do either and because it was Saturday, I thought fine, I can't make Friday for definite and maybe be able to make Saturday.
4. It looks OK for Saturday, just walked fifty yards and not in too much pain, so remain hopeful
5. Please forgive me CP, I have screwed up big time and promise faithfully to pay humoungous fines in the form of beer for the TE guys at your next meet:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

It would appear that the delightful Lisa baked us another of her lovely cakes for Saturday evening and then her numpty Husband went and fed it to the dog!!!
Why is it that it is always the dog that gets the cake and eats it.
I have now been told by my own delightful Wife; that as she has to go and walk, what are now referred to as, my Dogs; as I am temporarily unable to do so, which also means that I can't go to the Pub as well, which she claims is to "mybenefit"; that I should "getalife", stop being a "sadbastard", and if I am well enough to sit at my desk and post on WSF, I can go and "emptythewashingupmachine" making sure I "puteverythingawayintherightplace" and "fillitupagain".
What I don't understand is what these terms are or mean:

They get said to me on an almost daily basis and I never seem to understand.

That sounds a good idea. I'll go and pick some out of my neighbour's garden as my two chocolate labradors played a game of chase me chase me in my garden and we don't have any left.

These two never lie still long enough to do so.
If it is not playing chase me chase me, it is finding the nearest dirtiest filthiest smelliest puddle and lying in it for a minute and then locating the nearest piece of fox droppings and rolling in it, and then rushing back to say please cuddle us. They can't seem to understand why we run off.

Charlie the dog helped himself and finished the lot off.
He also had a head fit at the delivery driver and has forced me to get "dog on duty" signs
oh yes and a few days ago, rcalimeri graced our doorstep with his precence and on opening the door charlie the dog hastened to get a sniff of our visitor but he was going a little too fast and actually head butted richard clean in the spuds.:blink:
He will not be attending as club mascot on Saturday!
