Morning all,

finally some news about fishing which makes a change from the diatribes being offered by arvandiun and Mick the Fish - guys you are beginning to sound like Northern Ireland Politicians - TAKE A CHILL PILL

The usual suspects (my bro, nephew and me) took a trip up to Red Bay Pier yesterday with 2lb of rag, squid, prawn and herring. The morning started well with 1 small coalie, 1 small ling (my first ever) and 1 codling but guess what.... nothing else for the rest of the day!!

The conditions were favourable, no rain, slight easterly, moderate sea that had been churned up by the strong winds on Friday - excellent conditions we thought...

We left there at 1400 and fished Glenarm Beach for a few hours - again nothing.

Not a good day but I know that had we done this at night, we would have fared better.....

Ah well :( :o

Next time.

By the way peeps - here a a couple of useful sights for knots and fish identification

Hi,
Thanks for the handy knot link. Any links for undoing knots and tangles? Could be handy for myself and Mick-the-Fish when we get our knickers in a twist over Greenore and Carlingford Lough! :D

All the best,

Arvanduin
