The next Worthing match is to be joined together with a Shoreham match on the same date and will be fished on Shoreham beach from 7pm to 11pm.
The match will be catch and release on fish over 20cm. Also at the end of the match you get a bonus 20 points for every different type of species you catch.
Meeting point is about 300 yards east of the Good Shepard Church on Shoreham beach on the seafront.
So anyone wanting to fish bring a match ruler, a few pens and a clipboard.

Cheers Steve. Nice to see a different species for the winning bag. Wish I could have made it, but no chance! Nor the next couple cos I am AWOL for much of July.

Did you get your tope on a rope ?
Yep, although nothing big. I think most of the 30lb+ fish have dropped back out to the banks and holes mid-channel. I sat it out for tope for most of the day, and had a few to 15lb. The wife did well on the smooth hound, taking 7 to 12lb. I did try float fishing for the tope at low tide, just to add to my float fishing tally, and I did, but not with a tope. My first float caught dogfish though! I also had another first, a tope of about 5lb to a live joey!
