invitational dover breakwater trip, 10th aug

please can all concerned get back to me with a yes or no for the trip, Smoothy (marco) and I, will be opening an account this week hopefully, then moneys can be collected, and details finalilised,

if you're not going, please say so, that way we can extend the invite to others who may want to go, first invites have gone out to those who fish with us on semi regular basis, friends, or those who we felt would benefit from the experience on the breakwater,

again... if you want to go, and haven't been invited, please post your names as we're limiting the trip to 30, and only a few places are available at present. it will be on a first come first served basis.

please consider.... if the south vs south east takes place on brighton marina on the 11th, you're in for a long one ! the wall has been booked by myself, head out around 8pm, back around 8.30am, no getting off !

as i said before, this is not a public day fish, it is a whole night, privately booked by myself, on behalf of team extreme, if we get 30 people coming, @ £15 each, that'll give me the £350 which'll cover the boat and breakwater (£11+ each on avg) and leave us £100 for prize money, it's not who catches the most, or even the biggest necessarily, so everyone will be in with a chance of winning,

if interested in going, then please leave your name below, when spaces appear, they'll be filled on a 1st come 1st served basis.

At the moment I can't see myself making it. I believe we have the south vs south east on the 28th July with the south east boat match on the 5th august. With this being the 27th July I honestly couldn't fish both due to travelling to and fro venues.
I wish all those who fish this match the best of luck.

it was, but due to a double booking, i had to rebook for the 10th of august (next available friday night),

Any confirmation of back up venue? Personally, I would not like to dig a shed load of bait just to fish some naff beach somewhere if it slows. Admiralty could be a possibility. Also, we will have to sort out beach rigs / gear rather than Breakwater gear.

back up, we can fish a number of locations which are within half an hour of dover, deal has several options, as does dover itself, i've not fixed a back up as it will depend on the weather (wind direction) where we might want to go.

you can choose it if you like !

i always have beach rigs with me anyways, in fact, most can be used from the breakwater too, i don't make anything special for the wall.

if we decide that a walk off is the best idea, then the order we walk off, will be dictated by who paid first,

cheques need to be made out to 'Team Extreme SFC' thanks, i am currently banking cheques as they arrive, but if you want me to hold it til the end of the month then i will, just want to get them in really.

by getting the cash in, it avoids the "oh i can't be bothered now... it's raining' element you usually get with any trip, i'm sure there's none in the group thats been invited, but this way people go and we don't drop numbers or have to re work out the prize fund,
