that is the best news i've had all week matty, how much lug would you like, i would suggest 4 packs minimum (80) as three hook clip downs seem to be the rig that is producing at the moment, do you want to meet with ian as i think we are all meeting on the services on the m20,
once again top news mate, really glad to know you'll be there (considering it's your fault i'm doing the meet)
pm back

hi paul. yes i can meet you at the m20 services. but it depends on what time though. im working nights all week, and i don't finish work till 5 am on saturday morning. im planning to leave weymouth around 12ish, and get to m20 by 3. let us know what the plan is nearer the time mate.

p.s. if you are organising the bait, i would collect the money off people beforehand, in case they order a load, then don't turn up. it has been known mate. :)

I'll make a few enquiries this side of the river, and keep you posted as to the bait, thanks for the offer of the tent but we've got that covered now, we were going to get the kids one for xmas, they can have an early present,
My knowledge of Canvey's not good ( my sister lived there once , i think i visited her 3 time's,lol) but i think i could find the waterside without too many prob's

regards

as you come onto canvey from either canvey way(off at the sadlers farm roundabout) or from benfleet as you come to the first large roundabout you will see a large leisure center, that is waterside and there is a huge carpark there, will meet you in there, really if you can just sort out your own bait as i have really only got to get for myself and the south coast boys as they have trouble getting it,

Ah ,

thats what it's called , yes in that case i know how to get to it , no worries,

Just got back from a couple of hours fishing the Crouch from " rice n cole's jetty " i was'nt expecting to catch much as it was too early on the tide, but i wanted the kids to have a taste of night time fishing,
Oh my gawd i've never seen a 10 year get so uptight ,lol ,

Mehtinks it'll just be myself and the oldest one who come down ,

Hi, I'm hoping some of you can help me. I'm hoping to find somewhere to fish in the South East that doesn't require a distant cast yet can produce decent edible fish. I've just got back into fishing 20 years after leaving the North East and now live near Milton Keynes, so I'm hoping for somewhere within two and a half hours, Dover or similar. I'm ideally looking to come in the 2nd week of november, so any help guidance and tactics would be welcome. Many thanks everyone, this is my 1st post!!

hi there, firstly welcome to the site, hope you find it as informative as you want, as where to fish try the costal piers most do not require massive casts, also areas of an "up and down" tide, as to areas of in and out even though some areas only require a 30 yard cast to produce, try sending a private message to ryan as he is well worth asking for spot on marks to fish and the tactics involved, sorry i cant be much more help,

Try samphire Hoe mate, you dont need to cast far, but be warned of losing lots of tackle
