Less than 3 days after the superb Orford meet, I have decided to arrange another meet for us lot!!! (I just can't stay away from the coast! LOL)

Well this time it's FELIXSTOWE.

7th July 2007

Meeting at 4pm IN OPEN PUB THIS TIME (LMFAO!!! :)) (Which pub is to be confirmed!)

We will then start the fishing from 7pm onwards on the Saturday night and finish the fishing at 10am on the Sunday morning.

Do we want a friendly meet on this one or a match again and a competition for more prizes???

So, thats it for now, let me know if your coming and if you want a match or a meet this time. Please let me know as soon as possible!

there is loads of pubs on felixstowe front,best meeting place and good pub would be the dooley just off the doch entrance, advise would be meet at languard viewing area then either fish sea side of languard fort or into and up along the river side , easy !!!!!!!! advantage of veiwing area ya got car park slap bang behind yas and a coffee snack van on car park aswell , if i came down it wouldnt be competition just a show me face and fish , cant stay over nite im affraid ,

Erm, Meet it is then, on the 7th July. My turn to win this time!!! LOL

Any news on how Felixstowe is doing at the moment? Will it be any good for float and spinning?

A MEET it is then, NO match this time! (It's costing me a bloody fortune in gear! LOL) :(

Anyway, we will meet at 4pm this time so we can have a few pints, (In a pub of NIGEL's choosing (LMFAO) this time) then we can move on and start the fishing from 7pm pnwards whe we are all half cut! :group: :drunk: :bangin:

We will fish through until 10am the following morning and have a mini weigh in, etc then head home, how's that sound?

So, WHO'S COMING THEN????? PM me and let me know ASAP so I can organize it, as I only have a week to do so!

if your planning on going to the pub and want to drop your stuff off with me then let me know, as its one heck of a stomp with loads of gear , especially if your tad sozzled :drunk:
as midi will tell you the beach is hard work on your legs due to shingle and rough ground, but all depends where you wanna fish if you stick close to docks then its a out of your car fishing session, but advisable to walk along the beach towards harbour mouth, will try get down take some pics at low tide so you will be able o see the snaggy areas , i.e bloomin great wooden posts and fencing,
midi are you gonna fish the corner area aswell ????? i would probably stay till midnight ish hope to start fishing at 3 to catch high tide which i beleive is 5 ish,

yes a big walk but i think it's worth it going to fish in the corner area think i fish the beach side not the mouth high water 17:16pm

Good luck for Saturday guys not a lot being caught but hey you never know even up to two weeks ago me bro in law caught 3 sizable codling from the old wooden pier about 150yards from the view point car park. waters clear weed okay but best to fish the river up to high and leave it for the 1st two hours of the down as it runs hard.
