Just wondering if any clubs would like a fish-off, whether it be home or away.
I think clubs should interact more often, there are so many clubs, it could even turn into a league that doesnt sinlge out individual anglers but the club as a whole.
LSAA is a club that is run from Stranraer and has around 30 keen anglers which more than half of them would be willing to travel to fish these matches.
Let me know any thoughts.:secret::secret:

Team extreme (the original one from sussex) will fish against anyone, but, i do think that scotland is a bit far to go,

we regularly have meets down here, anywhere between 6 and 20 people i guess, and we often fish for our own groups.

shame you're so far away really,

our club nw rockhoppers from west cumbria has had a couple of trips up your way recently but more of a pleasure fish.
but might be interested in a match as part of a trip off,we havent got a lot of members at the minute but might be able to put 10 or so anglers together.
a few of the lads post on the nw forum so put a post up on there and see if we can sort something out.

That would be great maxie, it would be a good excuse for a fish and a beer.
Then there could be a return match depending on who travels first?

Hi Kev,

There are quite a few of us down the south coast now who share your ideas for friendly inter-club meets and if time and sadly more importantly finances, allowed I would be up for it (we occassionally go up to the Isle of Mull on holiday, which could be an opportunity one year:unsure:). However as Hugh (crazyplums) mentioned, it's one hell of a journey.

That said, if any or your lads are down this way then the SAS would certainly host some angling for you and I'm sure clubs similar to ours like DAB, HHAC or TE would also make an effort.

Keep in touch from time to time if you can as I think this is a long term goal worthy of pursuing :)

Steve
