Next Meet - Here Goes!!!! :)

Morning Lads,

Right, The next meet is going to be at.............................

LOWESTOFT SOUTH PEIR

Saturday 4th August

4.30pm Start (Saturday) - Weigh in (Prize Giving) 10am Sunday Morning.

This is going to be our SUMMER BASH!!!!

I want the turnout for this meet to be the biggest yet, so lets try and get as many people as we can to attend this one please lads!!!

The beauty of the South Peir is that it is only 75yds from the town center so there are plenty of late night amenities should you need anything.

Also, there is a pub right on the foot of the peir which is open from 11am until 2am that allows you to take your beers and drinks onto the peir with you if you wish, and the prices are cheap too! (There you go Nigel - Spot on for you!!! lol)
It also doubles up as a nice cafe/resteraunt during the day/early evening as well as a chippie right next door too.

There will be some prizes for this meet/event, only they will be kept as a surprise until the event happens!!! :secret:

Bait can be obtained by pre ordering from me (Lug/Rag) (Lug £15 per 100/Rag £8 per pound) - Just PM me and I will do the rest.

Open to WSF members and familes/friends only as usual. Same rules as the other events applies.

So there we have it. Lets make this the biggest bash of the year lads and get a bloody big turn out for it.

Why are these meets always arranged at night and always seem to be on the suffolk coast??

It's not really a "WSF East Coast" thing surely, if they are all this way - it must make it extremely hard for any of the lads from round the Lincs way to ever attend as it must be bordering on 300 miles round trip for some of em to travel and me personally, I don't fish allnighters and i'm sure many others don't.

If they're just "Mates Meet Up's" different matter, but IMHO to be arranged as "WSF" meets, surely there should be some variety to include all "WSF East Coast" members if possible.

gotta agree with you somewhat Al...love to meet up and fish with some good company but at my age all nighters are not really my thing...LOL an evening session ending about mid-night - 2.00am would be great

Also, it will give you cart blanche to throw a lead to your hearts content at this venue mate. (Throw one at Nigel when he leaves the pub!!! :g: roflmfao)

to get to lowestoft from ipswich your looking close on an hour m8 the speed restrictionns along that stretch are a flippin pain in the rear ender, it takes 1.5hours to get to hopton from my house in ipswich, just thought id warn yas,

Bad news : Lowestoft falls on the day we get back from Skeggy hols.
Good news Mrs Dabs insists I,ll need the break after a week at Butlins LOL .
