Ive booked a number of Bristol Channel Cod fishing dates onboard Anchorman3 this winter!..
This un is on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10th
I believe this time of year,Anchorman is moored in Penarth Mariner!
we always have a cracking time,hunting for the Legendary Cod!!..
Warm clothes,plenty of munch and sense of humour a must!!
Lug Worm aplenty!!..and squid!!..
Price is £28pp plus £2 Pool!..

This one isnt far away..To those who sent cheques(watersblue)..Be aware that i havent cashed them,They will be returned to you on the day..
"Bin" Paid £20 cash..that too will be returned to you at the start of the trip for you to make up the full amount at the end of the day,
Zed,i have a cheque of yours,but its for the 1st Dec,so doesnt apply for this trip,So the full amount will be required!..
I have Spoken to Dave on the Phone,he WILL be in penarth at this time..times of sailing will be annoucned next week..
Lets hope the sea dips in temp and the Cod make a grand appearance!..

Thanks Marcus, havent been from penarth since last year, at that time there was talk of parking restrictions or some sort of permit system, can you please check if this has progressed since then or is it still park up in the area next to the boat repair yard /

date's getting nearer guys, can feel the excitement starting to build, reels greased and ready to go, rod eye's checked & new weights cast earlier, thoughts of fresh sausage sarnies, diesel fumes and lumpy seas.......hope the fish play ball on the day !
hi, looking forward to this one, however, the winds are up for a couple of days, any idea of time?, and, could i have a lift pretty please, my wife is due and needs the car to get to hospital if in labour, i'm going fishing, need to get prioritys right.:unsure:

lol. will put some big jucy lug in the pasties to make sure the cod aint put off by any mullet goundbaiting techniqes you've developed...may even try one wrapped in a squid !

He doenst think the weather is looking good for saturday..
He's out at the moment with Tinker and wibblers..They've had a few rays and congers...but no cod yet
So we'll have to keep an eye on the forcast( at the mo its giving 25Mph winds)..

I have just checked a couple of sites, early morning 20mph dropping to 15mph at dawn, further upstream you go the better the conditions.

hi lads i have just been on a few weather sites its not looking good i think it be called off we have 23MPH WEST NORTH WESTERLYS winds going down to 17 mph WEST NORTH WESTERLYS tight lines
I hope it's not off, I'm looking forward to eating Zed's lucky pasties.

The winds have indeed dropped to 14mph WNW...So maybe it will be a ok..

winds now down to 18 mph west north westerlys getting better but still means we will stay around penarth tight lines
Im gonna give it till 10am tommorow..and then we'll make a decision based on the weather if we are out or not...

hi steve just had a look at the weather forecast one gaveing 18mph wnw winds thats the bbc and the other one is gaveing 23 mph wnw winds as its a big tides aswell tight lines

from the weather forecast on bbc last night, just can't believe with the isobars spaced out as they are and the high pressure just off the coast that there will be 23mph winds. the bbc weather website is constantly changing. how hard can it be?
the suspense is killing me..aaaaahhhhhh
Fishing trip is ON tommorow..
Please be at the boat for 6.30am...At penarth..Getting the 7am Lock..

We found out that there are cod being caught at a secret mark...
we will be heading there..
