Jassyfa, I reckon last nights meet was the friendliest one I been to yet, and I think that was a lot to do with having an assembly point away from the venue, so everyone was forced to say hello to everyone, whereas other meets I have attended everyone just rolled onto the beach, which kills the socialising as many people dont like to leave their rods. Anyhow, why am I rambling? Well, I reckon you should crack on with the re-match banter, and let us South Coasters have a chance of revenge. I'll bring some waterproofs for Ashley. I've got a tent somewhere. Should fit if he doesnt stretch.........:)

Its a good point you make, Rob. When we have our Pevensey meets we always meet at Anglers Den before heading off to the mark - means that there is some social time before getting down to the fishing.

and a chinese !!!
i agree about meeting up first, all the team extreme meets i know of, we meet at a set point first, this is sometimes due to the fact that we have no idea where we're going to fish exactly, other times to give people that are unfamiliar with the area, time to arrive, say hi, and follow us to the mark.
