hi guys well the time is almost on us long range forecast for the area is dry enough but bloody cold so dont forget your thermals ,i dont think there is anywhere to get extra bait so dont forget bring plenty there is a freezer at the lodge so thats ok,to get on the water quickly on friday we all need to be there for daylight remember we only have a very limited amount of daylight and need to take full advantage of what we have if you have not been there before its time to start getting out maps or GPS just remember go for glenborrodale and stop at ardmurchtan ? charters and park at the top of the road there is a track to take to andys place its the one for the fish farm just look for the post box on the side of the road but drive slowly its also access for a few houses and then along the beach ,it is doable for normal cars aswell so dont be shy there is a big long drive and loads of space on the shingle beach ,there will be four on one boat and three on the other i dont know if anyone has any particular guys they like fishing with or they just have fantasies about them in neoprene or floatation suits:blink:it maybe time to start thinking about that,and finally bedding is provided you need your food whatever tackle you fancy bait and drink and some clubbing clobber :clap2:ok pair of jeans and a jumper if you fancy a venture to the local hostelry although i have no idea where it is.As said in the pms myself ,skink and selwyn will be going over thursday night and camping close to it probably in a picnic site so if you are on your way down look out for us thanks for going through all this drivel and of course if your circumstances change and you cant go let me know asap so other guys can be offered the places thanks Paul Thornie

Directions to Laga bay (Ardnamurchan Charters):
Cross the Corran Ferry & turn left along the A861, through Strontian village until you come
to the Village of Salen - vear left onto the B8007 towards Glenborrodale for 7 miles, until you come to Laga Bay.
We are situated on the left - there are large signs and parking area for Ardnamurchan Charters.

first ferry is 0630hrs and last one is 2130hrs as for camping we are not really sure, we are all on leave from wednesday night so we may do a bit at the sheep shed on thursday night ,a good a place as any what do you think:blink:

Ive got about a dozen mackeral and a kilo of sprats for rubby dubby...tomorrow I'll pick up some squid and more mackies if I can get normal ones...ie not Cornish Line Caught £6 a kilo ones! Got one full spare boat rod and reel set up if anyone's not got one. And a gaff. Haven't been fishing for ages and really keen to get out on this trip.See you guys on Friday morning at the boats.
