Have just been in contact with Jassyfa and we think the return leg would be better fished at Deal by walmer castle on sat or sun 13th -14th Oct good midday tides falling springs . Can we have your opinions please.

The Deal angling club (1919) are hosting the British open sea angling championships (300 plus) on sunday the 14th...fishing 12-5pm.:)

Not my club.....worth a crack that match as the biggest single fish pool is usually £1500.........:secret:

One things for certain, Deal at the Walmer end in October will be much better than at Tilbury or Grays, plenty of whiting with codling showing, maybe a bass or two and of course and the ever present doggies, much better for a match!! :)

I wanted Grays or Tilbury as its more central for everybody, but I would prefer people to catch fish and get a good turn out rather than scratch for flounders.
