Fish'n'eat Update

the date has been decided :yeah::yeah:
SUNDAY 16TH OF SEPTEMBER
high tide at 2.40pm and a 8.8m tide
meet up at wokall at about 11ish for a gab and to buy raffle tickets
food and raffle draw at 3pm (will give you time to gut and fillet all the fish you catch)

there will also be a mini fish'n'eat on
SAT 8TH SEPTEMBER
HT 10.23PM AT 8.5M
There will be food and any raffle tickets bought will be drawn at the major fish'n'eat on the following sunday (dont worry i will ensure that you get the prize if you win

all proceeds to go to CHRISTIES cancer hospital
I'LL SPRING FOR A BOKKLE OF SCOTCH FOR THE BIGGEST FISH OVER THE TWO EVENTS

spoke to Vilma today (mrs mavrik) shes found a bottle of mavriks JD in a cupboard so thats going in the raffle so some lucky git can have a drink on Mavrik (AKA tel or terry)
shes also put a couple of bottles of red wine in and has confirmed she will be at the event to draw the raffle :lol: :lol:

just been to anglesey to the fishing4u shop - picked up 36!!!! packs of frozen and the beachcaster , plus yesterday i picked up a raft of frozen off a kindly baitdigger and his wife (who may bake a cake for the day )

prize list now updated

now have best part of 600 frozen worms plus a promise of 250 fresh , will that be enough???

btw gareths shop (fishing4u) is small but very well stocked and well worth a visit if you are on the island

on a sour note - we stopped at a ex little chef just outside of colwyn bay called the fifty5 (i think)- if you're passing DONT call in

After unpacking the penn rods yesterday i just put the packing aside ,had a "gentle" reminder of the wife to shift em today
they seemed a bit heavy for just cardboard - so i had a close look inside
