The comp is on the 13th Oct at Deal start at 8.30 am finish at 4.30 pm
high water around midday.

Fish 2 rods, max 4 hooks between the two rods ie 1 rod penell rig 1 rod 2 hook flapper.

Fish to NFSA size limits eels 40cm . all lengths to be recorded and counter singed by the fisherman next to you. And the person and team with the longest length wins .
This way anybody wishing to catch and release can do so.

Just pick a space what we normally try to do is fish alternate teams along the beach .

also mate sorry to have left all this to you , had a bad holiday to bulgeria cost me over £4100 for the holiday and had to spent most of my boat savings just to get by out there for 2 weeks £1500 . not bad for an all inclusive holiday lol .

Don't think I can afford both in one weekend so I'm afraid I am going to give the meet a miss this time.

Ok here's a sober thing... if you're stuck for finding bait re British Open, don't forget that LONDIS on Cherry Tree Ave in Dover does a bait freezer (stock over the year includes razor, crab, squid, sandeel, hermits, can't remember if anything else) and there's also a new bait shop just opened on London Road in Dover too :secret:I'm sure you all know the best places anyway! :)
