the problem with beach meets is the weather can easily make it unfishable. also some will only fish for short spaces of the tide. a meet somewhere like the tyne can be fished through most of the tide[depending on venue]. plus you will be able to fish in any weather conditions. in fact you will have shelter from the worst northerly winds.

you need a venue that is almost guaranteed to be fishable especially if people are traveling.

I'd be up for the 21st Oct, any venue, but Bills advice on venue makes a lot of sense, also there was some very good tips posted by Bill for the last tyne meet so I for one will be having another squint at that.

Your doing a great job Stu and I will certainly be up for it, Saturdays will be best for me though because one in every three Sundays I work nightshift.:yucky:

St Peter's Basin would be my first choice but would give the buisness park a go no probs as I have never fished there before.

Keep up the good work :clap3:

il be there stu, steetly has been used in the past and therefore we should be looking at a different venue liam. st peters is possibly the best mark going by the amount of small codling to 2lb there last year.
