I have been fishing the Gambia twice a year for the past couple of years and have built up a small amount of knowledge of good beaches, but Tom & Assan look like they could be worth a trip out with.

Can someone tell me how much they charge per day and do they accept Dalasi or £'s

I used Tom and Assan at Christmas. There knowledge of the beach is fantastic.

I am going to use them again 23rd October this year. They charge about £25.00 with a tip.

I got into some good fish with them, and would recommend them highly.

Thanks for the info and it sounds like you have been out with Tom & Assan, if so where do they operate from as I am staying at Cape Point in Bakau.

Which beaches did they take you to, although I'll bet than they took you to Sang Yang

I believe they live in Sukuta near Kololi but will pick you up from anywhere. Yes we fished Sanyang mainly sometimes a bit further south, but you can always fish wherever you like. Several other regulars on here have used them including myself. Check out the previous gambia catch reports.
