Right, The next North East shore meet will take place on Saturday Novemebr the 10th,

Fishing from 12.00 noon till 5pm

Venue - st peters basin(confirmed ok to fish this venue with northumbria police who wished us the best of luck)

prize fund will be Based upon 30% of all takings with the remaineder going to the charity.


The meet will also be an exellent opportunity to raise funds for mack1's friend who has a child with ME.

Because of this a competiton will be held for those that want to enter.

£7 entry

trophies and prizes to be won.

please leave your names below if you wish to attend and if you wish to enter the competition. Macky1 is a good a well respected member of the wsf community and he will be very gratefull if you can help out and come along to fish.

NETM/WSF Charity Meet in aid of AYME reg. charity no. 1082059

The competition will be split into 3 parts

1. Main Competition for Heaviest Single fish, entry - £7
2. As it is north east derby day there will be Sunderland V Newcastle themed comp to raise extra funds for the charity, entry - £3 this will also get you 1 free entry into 3.
3. Raffle – entry - £1 per strip


Rules for 1.

1. NFSA rules apply for minimum fish sizes except for whiting which are set at 30cm
2. This is a heaviest fish competition therefore anglers can only submit their heaviest fish, this allows for the smaller fish to be returned if you wish.
3. Maximum 1 rod and 2 hooks to be in the water at any one time.
4. you will be given the opportunity to draw you peg at registration, however if not all pegs are used after registration has finished at 11.50 you will have the opportunity on a first come first served basis to donate £1 to the charity to draw your peg again to try and get the peg you want.
5. no fishing is to be allowed outside of the pegged zones
6. we had to get permission from Northumbria police to fish this event so with this in mind please remove any rubbish in your vicinity as you leave your mark. Anyone found to be leaving rubbish or bait behind on the riverside will be banned from weighing in.
7. The organisers, sponsors and charity have no responsibility for any damage to yourself or others or any ones personal possessions including vehicles, you should ensure that you have the nessasary insurance to cover yourself.
8. The organisers have the right to change the prizes at any time to suit ours and more importantly the charity’s needs.
9. fishing is from 12.00 noon to 17.00 pm
10. In the event of a tie for HSF the prize will be split.
11. The judges decision will be final.

Rules for 2.

1. All of the above rules apply.
2. entrants will choose their own team, either Sunderland or Newcastle.
3. Each entrant will weigh in their heaviest fish only.
4. the aggregate catch from each team will decide who wins, eg if Newcastle have 20 entrants and sunderland 10, Newcastle catch 20lb of fish and sunderland catch 11lb of fish, then Sunderland will win.
5. All entrants will receive 1 entry into competition 3
6. Each member of the winning team will receive a prize
7. The entire loosing team will be forced to be photographed with a banner designed by myself which will be shown on both fishing websites.

Rules for 3.

1. Raffle tickets cost £1 per strip
2. you can claim your prize by logging on to one of the above websites and sending a pm to tackletart/bigpaul/Jarrow Viking or on WSF seaanglersofsunderland/bigpaul/Jarrow Viking if you cannot make the drw on the draw on the day.
3. prizes can be changed at any time to suit the charity;s needs
4. the organisers decision is always final.

This is a charity event, please enjoy the day. Tight lines
