Hi ALan,

Your lookin forward to it as much as I am looking forward to your opinion of it!! If you could post your opinion of it on the TAckle section once you have formed one, even if you think its crap, that would be fantastic.
Thanks also for all the oranising of this event. ALthough the fishing was a struggle, it was very well attended, even if they were mostly wearin grey fleeces baring the name TEAM KENT. Just a damn shame there wasnt a pool.........:)

As a member of the South team I should just point out that my contribution to our glorious victory was .....nowt! My best fish managed 17.5cm. So well done to fishyrob, who was particularly successful in targetting pout with reds, JudgeP and Mesito who all scored some points.

Good to catch up with some familar faces and to meet some not so familiar ones. Thanks to all invoved in organising the meet. It was an excellent venue for a meet and a superb turn out - just a shame the conditions meant the fish were not very obliging.

Good work the south team! A great result considering you were outnumbered and in foreign territory.......congratulations also to Fishyrob for coming up trumps!

Have to say it was all down to steve (mesito) who went digging for reds in the dead of night. And they were those steroid affected reds, not like the wee wiglgers from my patch in Essex. I can see why you went all "Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) " when you saw my essex ravers at the widewater meet now, Mark.....:)

lol - I didn't realise I was so transparent:). They were a bit tiny! Maybe we're spoiled down here and don't realise it because even in the most dug out spots - like where I was digging the other morning down river from you and mesito - you'd have that amount out in no time!
