Last week I fished in a jigging tournament in Tsushima Island at the kind invitation of Mogi-san (the inventor of modern day jigging).
Fishing was poor to be honest, on the day of the competition I landed 4 Yellowtail Kingfish, 2 Amberjacks and a Rockfish. Unfortunately the competition was for the heaviest fish so I came nowhere close.
Here's a few pics of some of the fish caught....Japanese Flounder, Yellowtail Kingfish, Rockfish (similar to our Sea Scorpion) and a Flutemouth.
Cheers
Dave
The chap with the flounder is clearly a master of holding fish at arms length and using a wide angle lens to make them look HUGE.

shame the fishing wasn't better dave, but it's reassuring to know that the fishing can be rubbish in other parts of the world and not just in scotland...lol

Yep the fishing can be rubbish anywhere....this island in it's season is a great place to go popping for bluefin tuna.
Hi Ken L - for sure....the Japanese are masters at making their fish look huge. That flounder was still a lovely fish of 5Kg or so....I would have been happy to catch that one!
