as you will all be aware , members of the southwest have challenged TEAM se to a comp , one to be held at dung and return leg at there neck of the woods , need to find out who will be interested in this one , thinking of making it a charity bash if its ok with the sw lads , money to go to the RNLI . £5 to enter and poss a side pot say £5 biggest cod at dung , if no cod show will look at say bass then work down till we get a fish that wins .
pencil me in. The only problem will be if im on call that day.

Its looking like its a 1 in 4 chance that I am working. Not to bad odds. There is a possibilty that I could swap the on call shift, but we havn't decided on a date yet for this match.

I'll be claiming my Essex roots and come and fish for Team SE if no-body has any objections......:)
Also, Standard DVice hijacking of the prize table - Five Dvices heaviest Round, Five Dvices heaviest Flatfish.
And another thing, Please could we have a pool. Voluntary of course. Not so bad for Dungie, but if there is a return leg, which of course it is only fair their should and will be, it would be nice to have a sporting chance to recover some fuel money.....!!
The petrol money to fish their place will be a problem for us lot. However for the yokels from Cornwall they are using horse and cart to get here.

well its like this boys , when i comes to use fishing down there . i will try and hire a mini bus and at least 10 /12 people can all go in one bus that will cut down on the fuel split 10 12 ways ,
i am up for a side pot and thanks for the dvice prize mate (fishrob) and yes you can fish for the SE . some thing tells me we will need all the help we can get lmao .
as for venue lads if dunge gets blown off i think due to the distance the lads from sw forum will be traviling we should move in to sussex as a back up . please gicve feed back on this please .

how does saturday the 8th of dec , dungerness tides are :
sorry dover time table lol so -14 mins .
10:08 ish high at 6.1 -
17:13 ish low at 1.5
22:29 ish high at 6.2
i would suggest fishing the evening tide 16:00 to 23:00 . that gives you lads time to drive to dung in the day light and set up in the day light but fishing should be good on the night tide .
we can then do the return leg some time in febuary/march in your neck of the woods .
Nukem@ll im sure im on-call that weekend and its my birthday weekend (im going to be 21). I will try and swap the on-call shift at work, but it will be harder to swap my birthday.
should be ok with me will know more for def when I check on the boat bookings at the weekend.

Not scared, just had to organise the charity meet and TSF wanted a match (which they dropped out off). Im sure somebody would be able to organise the match from this end.
