Jersey Open Shore Bass Festival 2005 – Results
Dear Anglers
The Bass Festival was another success with 12 fish being weighed in overall. Generally the numbers of entrants were down from (170) to 140. This was because of the number of competitions that have been running this year so close together i.e JOSAF, Conger apparently the angler’s wife’s are getting a bit upset!For those that did participate well done and it was good to see faces, old and new;
The Results
140 Entrants in Total – Including; 22 Visitors and 10 Juniors
1. Marc Andre 11.3.9
Caught in a secret location on the island using a cuttle fish. Incidentally that is the 5th double figured fish that marc has weighed in this year. This is fantastic, as Marc has done back-to-back comps, including the Conger festival of which he won with a 36lb Conger.

Next year we are planning to have the festival later in the year after the Alderney festival. (dates to be confirmed shortly). This means that there will be more fish, cheaper accommodation and travel and less competitions back-to back which means not so angry wife’s!!
