eye but is there anyone here from that small village lol
Absolute closest bit of sea water to me is 75 miles away according to Google Earth's ruler function.
That's the Wash. The next nearest is the Bristol Channel at 79 miles. Anywhere else is 110 miles plus.

i live about 3 minuites from loughor esteury :victory:
I live in Oxford. Not ideal for a bass fisherman... and it probably is the furthest point from the sea, but it's easier to get there than from Aylesbury or Thame.
I usually try and fish at dawn in Dorset. This often means getting up at 3 AM and driving 110 miles....
Nowhere is easy to get to from Thame.
I work there but live in Coventry. 78 miles each way and a one way journey takes me about 2 hours.
It only takes me 2 and a half hours to do the 127 miles to Skegness (I fish this area) from Coventry!
Luckily I can work from home most of the time

Cripes, I only needs a boat then as I lives 3 thirds the way up the Severn, mind you, wouldnt me much head room under some of the bridges tonight ! :headhurt:
I am in Bewdley, Worcestershire, DY121EP fastest to the sea is north wales.

On the programme coast it says nobody is more than 72 ish miles from the sea .i'd assume this is as the crow flies. for me its 74 to east and about 90 to the west, makes it expensive now days to go every week.
