[Red Dog]

I have a mate who will be going from the UK to Fremantle WA on the 20th January 2008 for an interview; he will only be in Australia for 8 days. He is a keen sea angler and as it is such a short stay can anyone point out the best beaches, tackle and bait required?

And welcome to the forum.

If you look back through past threads in this section you'll find several that cover Western Australia although, in the main, they relate to venues further north. Could I suggest though read them and once you've found a post from someone who lives there move your cursor to bring their name, in the left hand banner, to the side of the text, into focus. The 'hand' will appear and if you 'left click' you'll be presented with a short menu once option of which allows you to send a Private Message to that individual. I've suggested that because not everyone is necessarily reading posts in the International forums every day.

An alternative approach might be to post to one of the Australian forums. This is a particularly active one - http://www.fishnet.com.au/.
