Bang on. .

Hopefully get out over the festive period with the Old Man. Had a couple of decent ones before Xmas Eve, rivers are spot on. Get all the frivolities over with & then hopefully i'll be out again tommorow.

Tight lines, Taz. :fishing1:

The Wye is still running fairly high and brown at Holme Lacey at the moment. Should be OK for the weekend.

seems to be a few big uns in the river now.heard of a 35lb'er near evesham recently.in the severn there is some stuff that smashes the pike guys on 30lb braid.even heard of trebles on deadbaits being straightened...good luck:thumbs:

know of a 16lb'er caught there.also know a few have come out of myth pool, biggest i think was 33lb.got to be bigger ones in the river.was with my cousin who played a fish for about 1/2hr,he would start bringing it in,then it would decide it would swim slowly back across the severn and he could'nt stop it.eventually it snapped 15lb line.later he had a 23 1/2 lb carp which he reckoned was easy after the previous fight

Do you reckon the cats are flood escapes or have naughty specimen hunters introduced them to the river?:nono:
