right lads this is the scooby ,ETD from Lossiemouth 0700hrs on the 26th returning about 1900 hrs ,cost is 30 quid a head coffee or tea supplied due to people often changing there minds and the remaining crew having to make up the shortfall i would appreciate money to be paid in advance,if you pay and dont turn up you lose the cash unless we have some notice and someone can take your place, sorry to do it this way but its happened to me before and is unfair to everyone else, the list has been amended and is up to date ,so if you cant go ,someone else can, pm and i will send you the address to send cash or cheque to or you can pop round and pay in person and you get a free coffee and biscuit of your choice:victory:
I'll deffo be there :D
Anyone got a pirk mould?

Being the novice on this trip I need some advice. I have got myself some Hokkai and other rigs , but what weights will I need, how many?
How much and what bait should I bring. I was going to but some frozen mackeral adn some squid but I am not sure the quanity I will need any help offered now maight make me less of a nuisance on the day.
Thanks
well any lures will do!!! i'm taking a 1lb box of calamari a packet of prawns 1 and a half frozen herring and a seafood selection:thumbs: most of which will come home with me again anyway.
as for weights i tend to use 8 or 10oz for getting down quicker but some of the guys i usually go out with use anything up to 1 1/2 lb
chances are we'll catch fresh bait whilst out but very doubtful if there will be any mackerel so a couple of frozen wouldnt go amiss.
your bait will really depend on what you are aiming to catch
Thanks for that. I have some 12s and 6s so I really need to stock up with some more weights when I go for bait.
I've just had Paul on the phone.....The trip is CANCELLED.

Really how come i was really looking forward to it damn! :schmoll:
Skipper has to go back off shore, I'll let Paul explain.
I'm pretty gutted myself I was looking forward to it
I wonder if we could book that boat in Inverness at short notice?
I've been looking forward to that.
And now I feel like a fart in a colander,
......don't know what hole to go through.

right guys as you know already the trip is cancelled which is an inconveinience to say the least the skipper was meant to be on sea trails last week which were cancelled ,so the new trails conflict with our dates, i have only just come back into civilisation and its the first time i have been able to get to a phone or puter to let everyone know, what now needs sorting out is what to do with the cash if you pm me with addresses i will post the money back to you ,i was going to rip up the cheques and burn them but if you want them returned just give me an address to send them to ,once again i am sorry but cant do much about it except maybe try for another date ,please let me know what you want to do before i start posting everyone money
Oh well when checking metcheck the weather was looking a little rough at 30mph winds forecast for the saturday!!!!
i can try and arrange the white horse if anyone is interested? might be to short of notice but worth a try so let me know

Saturday certainly look's like it could be a bit of a howler Barry, so if nothing nautical is going down i'm thinking about heading west.
Right then i've just had a quick email from chris and he says he will stand in as skipper to take us out weather dependant.
he will email me details tonight so anyone who still wants to go out let me know as i may have to get some others to make up a full crew
