This is on Monday 16th June 2008

These trips are special Lundy island 12hr+ trips..

They are £45 Per Person..But these are weekday trips also due to the fact the weekend tides are too high to fish around Lundy reefs properly!..

The plan is to steam to Lundy and drift fish for everything and anything,then go out and spend 3-4hrs tope fishing,then back in around the reefs to stock up on mackeral pollock wrasse etc etc..

Should be a lovely day out..

Ive unfortunatly had to increase the price from £42 to £45 per person..The rising fuel costs forces this change..

Still a bargain for what will be a cracking days fishing..

Ive ordered Feathers,hokkais,Jellyworms and shads..weight hungry??..Its reef fishing..so if my attempts at reef fishing down milford are anything to go by,there will be the odd loss of rig for sure!

Then a bash at the Bass on the way home..

The MAIN thing is...I went out and got the Hotdogs today...I bought 40 or so..should be enough..I got the onions and sauce,,and will get the rolls later on the weekend

been to the garage at porthcawl today and filled up no problem, they said they ran out of unleaded for a short while yesterday but that had nothing to do with the strikes.

On a positive note fuel wise our two local garages are both well stocked and do not for see any problems.

Hi Everyone, good luck for tomorrow, you should have a cracking day,

we fished Bideford bay today, which is just 45mins to an hours run to Lundy from here for us,

anyway for your information, Mackerel are very scarce at the moment and the bass aren't showing on the usual reefs either, don't know why the waters clear and the weathers been set for a while now,

around low water the wind dropped and it was like a sheet of glass,

as said before have a great day out, i'm looking forward to the report,

OK. Drive over the causeway towards Barry Island. Harbour is on your right. Come to the roundabout and turn left. Don't take the exit for the old breakwater carpark - it's the next one I think. Drive along and there is a football pitch/park on your right. Go up a hill and there are some shops and a pub At the brow of the hill there is a left which you ignore, immediately another left and that is the one you want. It goes steeply downhill and the commercial docks are dead ahead. Follow this rather bleak road with railings either side and warnings of deep water. Keep on it and you come to a dead end at the very end. The harbour office is on the right fyi. Park there and follow the railings to a metal gate with a security code. We usually meet there for someone to let us in and then it's down some steep metal steps to Anchorman.

Sorry I don't know the names of the roads but trace these directions on multimap and you will find it.

It's Harbour Road, Left Paget Road,. Right and along Plymouth Road, Left Dock Road. If I could work out how to link to Google Maps I'd do that....but it's beyond me....

Anyway, that's where I'm heading. Better go to bed soon.....
