Cheers Bobcat !!

Do you think anyone would mind if I introduced a few grayling to the Towy ? I bet they would thrive in that clean water.

Cheers

too much competition for it, loads of small fish eating it all means theres no times for others to get huge. thats my theory neway.

or the pikeys ave all the good trout b4 we see em lol

Moving fish between waters is never a good idea - introducing species can have a major effect on the fisheries' ecology and on your pocket if you get caught...

http://www.efishbusiness.co.uk/movements/part03.asp

Even the water you transport them in can carry viruses / diseases or other species - just imagine if there were a few signal crayfish eggs in the water!!

Atb g.

signal crayfish carry their eggs (known as berries) under their tails until they hatch.does'nt mean you could'nt accidently carry some small young this wat though...regards...allan:)

you must know that guy prothero then from tavernspite way, my old man and the commitee guys are trying to get him booted out of the club for that reason, taking all the brownies that were put in with grants to get the kiddies fishing at free days for kids. utter prikc
