Any one know what kind of fishes are caught off of the Trinidadian coast, while shore fishing? I know some of the local names, but if i knew the real names then i could research them better... thanks

Not quite 'how long is the piece of string', but here're a few to start with - Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Pompano, Jack Crevalle (Atlantic) and Horse Eye Jack. There might also be things like Margrove and Schoolmaster Snapper. Of the 'shallow water' sharks you might have encountered Lemon, Blacktip and Nurse Sharks and possible something that looks like a small Hammerhead that's actually called a Bonnethead - Sphyrna Tiburo.

Hope that's of some help.
