The following rules apply everywhere on our site, unless explicitly mentioned otherwise in a forum specific rule.

Remember you are an ambassador for your sport – think before you post!

Most forums are Post-moderation - all messages appear on the board first and are checked afterwards. Messages are removed if they are failed by a moderator or if a complaint about a message is upheld. This will happen if the message breaks our House Rules.

WORLD SEA FISHING LIMITED maintains the interactive portion(s) of the Web site as a service free of charge. By using any interactive services provided herein, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these rules.

House Rules

1. Moderators decisions are final. Ultimately, a moderator has complete discretion over what is and is not acceptable on the site. We reserve the right to remove posts without notice.
2. Public discussions of moderating decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to moderating decisions, please take it up in private with that member of the moderating team.
3. While debate and discussion is fine, all members must be treated in a respectful and adult manner. All members should respect and adhere to the promotion of harmony within the WSF Community. Do not attempt to disrupt the community in anyway way, be nice or be gone, it really is that simple.
4. No “flaming”. No messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest.
5. No “trolling”. No messages that disrupts the peace and harmony of this discussion board. Don’t create meaningless threads in main angling forums. Don’t create threads for the purpose of starting a dispute. This INCLUDES messages in profiles and signatures.
6. No posting of any personal details of members or none members regardless of if they are in the public domain.
7. Absolutely no “lynch mob” type posts, these will be deleted and your account suspended – no questions asked.
8. No swearing in any under 18 forum, reliance on the swear filter is not acceptable, don’t swear!
9. No “spamming”. Do not double post or cross-post the same message in multiple forums of this site with the same message. You will not post in the main angling forums “spam” for the purpose of increasing your post count. Use the Chatter forum for this. Please try and post in the correct forums where possible.
10. We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitation in signatures are prohibited. No links to auction web sites.
11. No offensive material. Do not post messages that are libellous, obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racists, sexist, discriminatory and/or otherwise violate any local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, posted images, photos and avatars. The moderators will ultimately decide what is appropriate or not. PLEASE NOTE: This is ICRA registered site suitable for the use by children, remember that when posting.
12. No trading on the main forum boards, use the classifieds, trading in the forums will be removed.
13. No spreading of any copyrighted material except through links to the original source. Discussion of illegal activities including software and music piracy are not allowed.
14. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is NOT allowed.
15. Absolutely NO blatant bashing of other discussion boards and angling sites.
16. If you find a post you think violates these rules please click the Alert icon on the post in question which will report the thread to a member of the moderating team.
17. Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
18. We reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right. We also reserve the right to deny any user access to this web site or service.

Please note: You are responsible for your own posts. We will not take the rap for anything that you post on these forums. Any comeback to World Sea Fishing regarding information you post will be passed onto the user who posted the information in its instance. If you are going to post something that could be libellous make sure you have proven facts to back it up, if in doubt, don’t post it.

Signature rules
The following rules apply to all signatures used on the WSF Forum.

1. Absolutely no political, racial or offensive meanings/insinuations blatant or discrete.
2. Signatures have a limit of 10 text lines (including white space)
3. BB Code is restricted to Bolding, Italics, Underline, Align, Linking, Colour and Size (up to +4) are permitted. BB Codes Font, Lists, Codes, PHP, HTML, Quotes and Images are now prohibited.
4. Use of the Signature Image Upload is permitted. Maximum size for a Signature Image is 500pixels wide by 100 pixels high up to 20kb.
5. A maximum of 5 smilies may be used in your signature.
6. You are free to link to your own sites in your signature. No linking to Auction web sites or commercial sites.
7. We would encourage members who have personal details in their signatures to remove them including phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to Your use of the website located at www.worldSeafishing.com and its related domains, the World Sea Fishing web site.

By using the World Sea Fishing web site You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If You do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, You may not use the World Sea Fishing web site.

1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 "You/Your" means You, the user, "We/Us" means World Sea Fishing and its members. "World Sea Fishing Site" shall have the meaning as set out above. "User Information" means the personal details which may be provided by You to Us via the World Sea Fishing Site. "Users" means the users of the World Sea Fishing Site collectively and/or individually as the context admits. "Website" means a site on the World Wide Web.

2. ACCEPTABLE USE

2.3 You may not copy, download, reproduce, republish, broadcast, transmit in any manner whatsoever, any material on the World Sea Fishing Site except as is strictly necessary for Your own personal non-commercial home use.
2.4 You may not register multiple accounts on the World Sea Fishing Forums, part of the World Sea Fishing Site. Any Users found to have registered more than one account on the World Sea Fishing Forums are liable to have their right to post removed.
2.5 If you wish to use a signature with your World Sea Fishing Account you may do so subject to the following rules:
i. Must not political, racial or offensive in nature (some angling related politics is allowed).
ii. Any account found to be using a signature which contains political, racial or offensive will be removed.
iii. All decisions taken on whether the signature is allowed or not will be at the discretion of the moderators of the site. You can appeal using the PM system – but the final decision rests with the Admin and the Global Moderators.

3. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
3.1 You acknowledge and agree that We are not responsible for the availability of any third party Websites or material You access through the World Sea Fishing Site, and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or services on or available from such Websites or material, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused, or alleged to be caused, by or in connection with use of or reliance on any content, advertising, products or services available on or available from such Websites or material.
3.2 Any dealings between You and any advertisers or merchants found on or via the World Sea Fishing Site, including payment for and delivery of products, services and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations, associated with such dealings, are solely between You and the relevant advertiser or merchant. You agree not to hold Us liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of any such dealings.
3.3 Links to third party sites may only be included in forum posts where a clear relevance to the thread in question exists. Any Users posting URLs of sites excessively or in a way which could be construed as advertising are liable to have their right to post removed.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
4.1 All copyright, trade marks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the World Sea Fishing Site shall remain at all times vested in Us or Our licensors. You are permitted to use this material or content only as expressly authorised in writing by Us or Our licensors and may not and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material or content.

5. WORLD SEA FISHING RIGHTS
5.1 Material which is posted on any bulletin boards or chat forums is written by Users and We are not responsible for and give no endorsement of such material. We monitor the contributions and may respond to or comment upon communications by You and edit, refuse to post or remove any content from the bulletin boards and chat forums in its absolute discretion. No failure to remove particular material constitutes an endorsement or acceptance of it by Us. Forums are run un-moderated.
5.2 To the extent permitted by law, We make no warranties, express or implied, as to the content of the World Sea Fishing Site or the accuracy, timing or reliability of any information or statements contained therein, or statements, advice and opinions given by Users on the bulletin boards and chat forums which are those of such Users only. We neither endorse nor shall be held responsible for the reliability or accuracy of the same and We are not responsible in any way for any injury, loss or damage which occurs as a result of an opinion expressed or information provided on the World Sea Fishing Site. If You have any claim arising from the actions or statements of another User, You agree to pursue such a claim only against that User and not from Us.
