Scrub Strip ?
Has any one thought of fitting a scrub strip to the front of their Yak ? glued on not screwed... the idea is there must be some heavy wear will beach landings, driving onto gravel or rocks etc. We fit them to boats that get a lot of beach launches etc.
A Bad Day Fishing still beats a good day at work...

My Bilbao has one fitted as standard, bow and stern. They are screwed into proper fittings so that they can be replaced.

They are just made of heavy duty plastic or rubber. You could use heavy rubber, make one to fit and bond it on.
