Breakaway Cannon
I know there's been a thread on this before but I've never actually got to use one until now.
All I can say is that if you use a fixed spool for goodness sake get one of these. My casting was rubbish before I got one of these and I'm now casting with confidence and over 100 yards from an overhead thump. It's going to be especially useful when it's wet or foggy.
It's a doddle to fix to the rod and even more of a doddle to use.

the same link is on the other thread on this device it seems to work better than mine [i wonder why?] still looks great to me. type in cannon in the search box its called cannon do they work.

That's a new one on me, I reviewed the old one years ago and that worked. It looks like the same principle but they've upgraded the item, should work even better.
