Info on Blithfeild Reservoir Staffs
Hi all
just wondered if anyone has Fished the place as i am off there for a weeks holiday in June. Booked a cottage & the water is about 100yds away so going to wet a line or two & tour around a bit keep the wife happy. Just hope we hit on to a bit good weather, Went up Scotland few year back Blair Athol and it p****ed down all week never got fishing all the Rivers were in full flood, land slides the Full Monty.

Ive never fished the resevoir, but it is very big, mainly trout and is club owned but i think you can get day tickets from june onwards at about £20 per day/fish limit.
Some massive pike in there but i think you need to be a member of Staffordshire Predator Club.
Some good fishing on the River Trent at Rugeley, very underrated. Also Trent and Mersey Canal at Rugeley.

I used to be a member there 10 years ago great fishing
bank or boat, maybe better in boat in june, was run by a
club but I think severn trent water have it from this year
there are day tickets available all season. Good dry fly
water.
