    Talking 14/03/08 fishing combe martin

Hi, managed to get out fishing last night for the first time in 2 weeks, due to bad weather. we deceded to fish combe martin the rock mark and it was very productive! we fished from low to high tide, it started off a bit on the slow side with a dogfish caught at about mid low to mid tide....

this greedy bugger ate a hole mackrel!

The next was a small eel of about 2lb....

Then as we had to move up the rock face as the tide started to flood i managed to pull out a pb eel (felt like i was snagged up) of 8.2lb....

Then the fishing got hard so my mate matt decided to just sit and wait as there was no space for a tripod, however i decided to carry on and as the tide started to drop i pulled out a better pb weighing 9.8lb, as matt scrambled down the rock face to retrieve the beast, as he went to grap it a wave soaked him from head to toe! lol

These are the to that were caught by me (ben). soon after catching the beast of a conger matt soon decided to fish again, and by doing this he soon pull out from the deep yet another eel weighting 7.9lb, (his pb eel)

After that we decidid to call it a day. this was an amazing sesion for both of us breaking our pb eel record!
    No Risk! No Fun!

    nice snakes, well done.

i am gussing you didnt have a camera with you on the mark, which is why you have them in your kitchen?

fish even the ones you keep and eat, do look better when photographed outdoors, you can pick up a cheap digital camera off the internet these days.
