Anyone been on a fishing holiday?
Hey guys,
Been reading in various publications that Norway is a real amazing place for fishing. Done a tad research and can get a return to Oslo, their capital, for 150quid. Not bad aye!
Anyone been to this Country, or on any fishing holidays and can recommend? Cheers, Tim

I went to Florida on holiday some years ago, it didn't start out as a fishing holiday because I didn't fish.
On borrowing my mates cheapo rod he left in his appartment which I was staying in, buying a licence, purchasing a reel, a few bits and bobs and a few live shrimp each day. It soon turned into a fishing holiday....caught big sea trout, big black drum, red snapper and a few fish whose species evades me.
I didn't have a clue what I was doing (some would say I still don't now)
but I caught more fish in two weeks there and of better size than I've ever caught here in the same time span.

Never been there but the fishing can be pants!!!! depends on your location. Some mates of mine went over and were just scratching all the time.
All of Norway is not good fishing ! Hope you come up trumps though

if you fancy catfishing in Spain...this is the bloke to go with.
http://www.catmastertours.com/
I'm a bit biased because he is one of my mates but we have been going there since the early 90's and his is the most successful guiding service on the river, by a long way.
he has also got nice apartments and a bar !!
The Bavarian Guiding Service is also good but they don't fish the English way, which is the most successful.
there are a lot of people over there now who have just jumped on the bandwagon, claiming they have caught loads of monsters, but a lot of it is just blag to get the punters in!
let me know if you want any inside information
