Using Crabs as bait
I was watching john Wilson fish in Florida and use live crab as bait.
They are everywhere in Cuba.
Can anyone tell me....
1. Best method to catch them?
2. Store them alive?
3. Prepare and hook them?
Thanks

I'm sure there're other ways of catching them but I've only ever seen guides gently step on them before they shoot back into their holes and then extract them from under their (bare) foot.
They're normally stored in oxgenated live wells (in water) in the skiff.
Hook them on a 'J' hook at the back of the carapace.
